What to do in Mestre or Venice on the weekend of 6 May 2023?
On Saturday 6 May 2023 there will be a special concert in the Aretusa district in Mestre.
This concert will feature the Vivaldi band of Mestre and Venice together with the Fanfare L’Avenir de St-Martin from Fribourg (Switzerland). The concert will be a musical encounter with pieces from a varied and international repertoire, and will take place in the Piazzetta Balestra in front of the Loredana pastry shop.
What can we say, it will certainly be a pleasure to have many of you and we look forward to playing for you!
Two bands, ours and the Swiss band, met for an unforgettable concert. We took turns on stage performing pieces from our respective repertoires and at the end we played ‘Life is beautiful’ together.
After the concert, there were great refreshments from Loredana’s pastry shop to celebrate the event, and everyone joined in sharing the food and conversation.
We thank all the participants, the two bands and the organisers who made this unique experience possible.
